Our founders Johnny Lam and Vincent Chu sketched the plan for EcoBay at a coffee shop in Hong Kong.
Summer
Version 1.0 of EcoBay App was launched focusing on ESG issues.
EcoBay was selected as a blockchain accelerator that was launched by Molecular Hub x HKSTP x ASTRI under its Global Acceleration Academy (GAA).
Winter
EcoBay completed its successful Demo with IoT Device in MIT Hong Kong Innovation Node.

In a new round of funding, EcoBay was made available to potential investors, not just venture capitalists.

EcoBay was introduced to the first Care222 product and Far UVC technology from USHIO America in Asia.
Winter
EcoBay acquired the Memorandum of Understanding from USHIO Japan with application of Care222 in Lift Cars and restrooms, etc.

Covid-19 outbreak in Asia impacted the economy. EcoBay team expanded as well as the Care222 community.

EcoBay received a reward via E&M Inno-portal with the proposal of Easy2Care – Germ-Zapping Tech 2.0 implementation at the Headquarters of EMSD that corporated with the University of Hong Kong

EcoBay became an authorized distributor of USHIO Far UVC products for Hong Kong and Macau region.

International Airport invited EcoBay to carry out the implementation of Easy2care technologies at the Hot Spots of public areas and facilities.

EcoBay Headquarters had relocated to Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks as a partner company.
